Uncle Sam's Great American Circus

These are a few shots I took of some Circus Performers in Nottingham a while back. The woman in the 2nd picture could hold onto a belt by her teeth and be swung around in a circle with her body at a 90 degree angle! At what point did she realise she could do that???

This is another from my student days. This was shot for Sarah Caddy's final year collection and has now got into the final for the AOP Student Fashion Series Awards, which will be judged at the end of May, so here's hoping I might be able to pick up an award on the night!

Zsa-Zsa Gabor & Gina Lollobrigida

It has to be said that of all the Divas who belong in a Helmut Newton inspired world, Zsa Zsa Gabor would take the crown! I'm not sure if she ever did sit for him, but if not she should have! I met Gina Lollobrigida recently on an assisting job and it turns out she once turned down Helmut's requests for her to pose for him. Now that woman was bloody sexy in her day! I have always been fascinated by glamourous characters like these two women and these clips of Zsa Zsa show why she was fabulous! My favourite Zsa Zsa quote...."I am a marvelous housekeeper. Every time I leave a man, I keep his house." Zsa Zsa Gabor
